After a long hiatus the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra is delighted to present a final captivating program for 2021. Returning to the generous acoustic of the Toorak Uniting Church, this program features Age of Enlightenment concertos for violins, bassoon and cello.
Be drawn into the energising world of Telemann's Concerto for Four Violins, led by MBO Concertmaster and Soloist Shane Lestideau, with Cameron Jamieson, Felicite Heine and Stephanie Eldridge. We welcome virtuoso bassoonist Lyndon Watts in a rare chance to hear the enigmatic Bassoon Concerto by German composer Johann Friedrich Fasch. Regular MBO cellist Josephine Vains returns after her 2019 performance of the A minor Concerto by CPE Bach with the sunny Concerto in A major in an enlightening musical celebration.
This performance is capped at 100 patrons so BOOK NOW to secure your place.
In accordance with government restrictions, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption will be required for anyone over the age of sixteen to attend this performance. QR code check-in and masks worn indoors are also a condition of entry.
