Melbourne Baroque Orchestra Chamber Players: Review, March 2019
“Wesley of Warragul’s Simply Music concert season 2019 commenced last month with a simply superb program and performance by [chamber players of] the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra….. The excellence of the performance ...[lay in] the intimacy of the interaction between all the players, and the perfect integration of [the] parts.”
Of Craig Hill’s playing, John writes: “Craig Hill has been a pioneering exponent of period instrument performance in Australia. It was a privilege to hear his exquisite playing of such lovely music which exemplifies Mozart’s particular love of the clarinet, as well as his supreme musical genius.”
John Hart (letter to the editor, the Warragul and Drouin Gazette, April 2, 2019) of the Wesley of Warragul “Simply Music” concert by Melbourne Baroque Orchestra Chamber Players, March 17, 2019, at the Warragul’s Wesley Church
