Autumn Fundraiser 
With MBO and the Early Music Studio

MBO musicians will collaborate with Baroque Ensemble students from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne in  this annual fundraiser concert of chamber works. All performances generously donated by the players, and St John's church provided free of charge.

With soloists Sally-Anne Russell and chad Kelly

MBO is delighted to be joined by much-loved contralto Sally-Anne Russell and the irrepressible Chad Kelly, harpsichord, in a program centred around J.S.Bach's Cantata 82, and his Harpsichord Concerto in E major.

The Chocolate Viola
With soloist Katie Yap 
and Chocolate treats by Martin Houben

 

Multi-award winning violist Katie Yap joins the MBO in a delicious program centred around J.S.Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no. 6.

Audience members will be treated to a pair of very special chocolates handmade by chocolatier and long-time MBO supporter, the inimitable Martin Houben.

J.S.Bach's Missa Brevis
Australian Boys Choir and the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra

On Sunday December 10 at 5pm, at the Melbourne Recital Centre, you can hear the MBO perform Bach's Missa Brevis with the Australian Boys Choir. This will also be livestreamed by Australian Digital Concert Hall.
